Jay Shaw's "Massage Parlor Murders" Movie Poster (NSFW)

Jay Shaw has quickly become the poster boy for exploitation cinema, literally. Like a psycho killer wielding a serrated blade, Shaw has carved himself out a reputation as one of the few artists who can truly communicate (in screen printed form) what makes these usually gory, cheap, titillating films so unbelievably fun. Working with Vinegar Syndrome, a company I'm ashamed to admit I wasn't familiar with until yesterday, Jay did what Jay does best, crafted a killer poster for their upcoming release, Massage Parlor Murders.

Massage Parlor Murders Movie Poster
Jay Shaw
18" x 24" (Screen Print) - Signed and Numbered
$35 - Limited to 74

I've never seen the film, but this hypnotizing print is unbelievably beautiful and, in my humble opinion, fully deserving of a blind purchase. Shaw's ability to merge, morph, and subvert the individual elements in his work often leads to something far greater (and more frightening) than the sum of its parts.

You can purchase one of Jay's Massage Parlor Murders prints at the Vinegar Syndrome website for only $35. The poster measures 18" x 24" and is limited to an edition of 74. For fans who likes their paper stock on the thicker side, there's also the wood variant printed on MDF core maple wood. Be sure to check out vinegarsyndrome.com, their Facebook page, and follow @vinegarsyndrome if you have any interest in exploitation cinema.

I'm guessing, like me, the majority of you have never heard of this film. To that I say, watched the damned trailer! Warning: there are lots and lots of boobies in this video and it's most definitely not safe for work.

And scene.
