It's February already? Well, I guess that means it's time for another contest and this one might be my favorite yet, or at least tied with last month's in terms of awesomeness. You may or may not remember I wrote about the amazing Kingdom of Nonsense curated "The Machines Are Winning: A Tribute to Sidney Lumet" show last September, where I specifically called out some of my favorite pieces. Happy New Year everyone! To start off 2012 right I've decided to make today a giveaway day! Huzzah! I was toying with the idea of giving this print away closer to the release of Ridley Scott's Prometheus (synergy and whatnot), but I'm just too damn excited to hold Dale Peart's poster back AND the longer it stays at my house, the more likely I am to keep it all for myself. I wrote about this print in December and from the looks of it a few are still available for purchase. If you'd like to ensure you get one of these beauties the old fashioned away (i.e., not a giveaway) I recommend emailing Mr. Peart as soon as possible. By the way, I should probably mention this was the first giveaway print I've received directly from an artist, meaning I didn't have to purchase it myself, so that's kind of a big deal for me and hopefully something that continues to happen.
